It's nice to see rain every once in awhile. You can only get so much of the good stuff at a time (damnit, never been so burnt before.. ahhh). Whenever it’s raining, I like to stare out the window and reminisce about the past. Looking back, I wish I had:
-never given up on playing the piano (I was half-way through ARCT)
-never given up on playing the clarinet and alto-sax
-not partied and drank as much in my freshmen years
-never taken things for granted (especially friendships)
-realized who your true friends are (those who are with you through thick and thin)
-committed more time to my family and my ‘real’ friends
Looking back to my posting from 2004, some things changed, some didn’t… here’s an updated list of ‘accomplishments’.. or whatever you want to call it..
-Instead of buying a WRX, I bought a 2.5RS.. (Hey, a car’s meant to be a ‘safe’ A-B’ mode of transportation’
-So much for trying to be economical, I ended up buying my all time favorite car.. a 20th Anniversary Edition GTI in Jazz Blue (One of 50 in Canada..one of 5 in BC.. woo hoo!)
-I worked at Bioquest Pharmaceuticals, Seanix A&B Sound, and most recently BC Hydro
-Worked for Epson and HP as part-time marketing rep on the side (if you need ink, let me know! J)
-went water rafting for the first time
-got my first job in an office environment (accounting + HR)
-cured my bbt addiction.. but thanks to *cough cough*.. it came back! Grr..
-I still need my espresso on a regular basis
-Still spending lots of quality time with my piggy.. *muahs*
I will create my next entry in 2008.
